Madison, Wisconsin -- A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned the following indictments today. You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

In unrelated cases, three citizens of Mexico are charged with illegally reentering the United States after previously being removed. The individuals charged are:

1. Diego Duran-Martinez, 27, found in Madison, Wis., on December 9, 2012;

If convicted, they each face a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison. The charges against them are the result of investigations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The prosecution of the Duran-Martinez case has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul W. Connell, and the prosecution of the Porras-Carreon and Cuahuey-Cuahuizo cases has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin F. Burke.
